Cardrona Skifield, Waiorau Snow Farm, Alexandra and
Queenstown.
Serious about Adventure? Serious about gaining some more
credits? Serious about getting out there and having fun? Begin
with three days of skiing or boarding at Cardrona Skifield.
From there enjoy the challenges of Nordic Skiing and staying
in a backcountry hut for the night. Head over to Alexandra
for some time on the climbing crags and the High Challenge
Ropes Course, before making our way back to Queenstown for
the thrilling Shotover Jet and the Skyline Gondola and Luge.
Enjoy a range of outdoor education activities including Challenge
Ropes Course, Rock Climbing and Skiing in the stunning Southern
Lakes Area. Learn to develop your communication, team work
and leadership skills in this challenging, safe and fun outdoor
experience. This is a unique opportunity to experience one
of our special environments in a very special way.
Earn credits while you have fun. With a bit of motivation
and effort you can gain 10 credits in 10 days! This course
covers the following credits.
- US 4596 Snowboard on beginner terrain – Level 2
Credit 4 OR
US 17468 Alpine ski on beginner terrain – Level2 Credit

- US 21744 Experience Nordic skiing – Level 2 Credit
1
- US 473 Group & personal skills on a high ropes course
– Level 2 Credit 3
- US 20210 Experience rock climbing – Level 1 Credit

- US 20152 Experience abseiling – Level 1 Credit

Finish your trip in Queenstown with adventure tourism activities
such as the famous “Shotover Jet”, AJ Hackett
Bungee, or Skyline Luge or simply enjoy a quiet afternoon
in the town centre trying out the cafes and enjoying the lake
front. A final night meal out will celebrate all the hard
work from the course and allow you to say goodbye to the new
friends you will have made.
Both local and international students will find this course
rewarding and beneficial. It is adventure packed with real
learning outcomes. As always you are assured of the quality

Eligibility
The course is open to applications from 14-18 year old students,
subject to approval.
Appropriate accident and medical insurance cover is required
for International Students who wish to join our programmes.
This can be supplied if required.
Course Costs
As with all of our courses the price you see is the price
you pay. NO HIDDEN EXTRAS! The price includes all accommodation,
meals, activities, transport and instruction and supervision.
The all inclusive cost of the two week (12 day) camp is NZD
$1,799 incl. GST.

Exclusions
Optional adventure tourism activities in Queenstown such as
bungee jumping, parasailing, etc are not included in the cost.
Students own out-of-pocket expenses (spending money) are not
included. Airfares or land transfers to/from Queenstown Airport
are not included. Travel insurance premium is not included
in the cost.
