Today we thought we would venture out into our community one last time during the school holidays and enjoy something new. We decided to have a picnic lunch with some yummy buns which were donated by a lovely lady in the community.
Here we are back at the koha shed again as we were invited back to join Whaea Belinda in sowing some vegetable seeds in preparation of spring. It's great that we are able to venture out into our local community of Maraenui and experience hands on learning experiences right here in our back yard.

The teachers in the toddler Room at Learning Adventures Rosedale have a passion for the outdoors and teaching children to respect nature. They decided they wanted to bring the outside inside through introducing lots of nature inspired resources as well as through decorating their room!
Ice sensory experiences provide an opportunity for children to explore with their hands. There is no right or wrong way. You can touch it or taste it and smell it. It gets the brain working and our children enjoy it in so many different ways.
An amazing opportunity for the children to visit the Fire Station in Katikati. Lots of laughs and smiles, while learning about keeping themselves safe and participating in the "Get Out, Stay Out!" Preschool Education Programme.
This month the Learning Adventures Katikati children have been involved with the New Zealand Mural Contest and Arts Festival where they were awarded the "Highly Commended" and the "Peoples Choice Certificate" along with a lovely cheque for $250!
