Planting Ashhurt
We were invited to help plant the entrance way to Ashhurst that will welcome visitors and provide a sense of place for those who call the villages home.
Thousands of people travel through these villages every day to get into Palmerston North, without them realising they’re already in our city boundaries.
These villages are vital parts of our city, and now visitors will know that too.” Learning Adventures Ashhurst was very proud to be a part of this special occasion.
Our children were fantastic role models and showed a great sense of pride in planting and caring for the plants. How fantastic that in years to come they can look at the entranceway and say "I was part of this”.
